Single storey rear extension to a contemporary home
Many of us are looking to achieve a modern lifestyle based around open-plan living, connecting the kitchen with the other key ground floor areas. Having a strong connection between the interior living space and garden is also often an aspiration. For this project both factors were central components of our client's brief.
A single storey rear extension was added to the property, providing the desired additional living space, greater connection with the peaceful garden and significantly increased natural light. Across the rest of the ground floor the room spaces were opened up to achieve a natural flow through the living accommodation and connection between the kitchen and family areas of the home.
