Property wide reinvention of a rural cottage
This rural cottage occupies a beautiful location with enviable views over rolling countryside. However, when the client purchased the property it was in a poor condition and imbalanced in its design. Our brief was to breathe new life into the home, draw out and enhance its character and provide much needed visual balance.
A new side extension was added to the property which instantly provided pleasing symmetry and balance. New bays, dormers and carefully designed hardwood windows were also worked into the design, adding to the visual personality of the cottage and allowing for enhanced enjoyment of the splendid views. Inside, a new room layout catered for a more modern lifestyle while still retaining the cottage character of the home.
